Jelly Shoes

Had a rather productive night so far so here I am taking a breather! Managed to finish the draft for my French presentation this week and compiled the whole list of vocabulary for the year so far so feeling pretty accomplished despite not doing anything on Friday and Saturday haha. I haven't bought much and I didn't order anything from ASOS even though they were having 20% off but the jeans I wanted were sold out. :( But I made a trip (or two) to Primark haha with C first then E who was nice to accompany me! Wanted to get the jelly sandals LOL yes they are from Primark. Normally I don't buy clothes from Primark because of bad previous experience but jelly flats are basically the same everywhere and it's not like I will wear it everyday plus the rubber jelly will practically last FOREVER (I have a pair of jelly flats at home and I love them) so it is perfectly acceptable to buy from Primark. And they are only £4!!! I got the ones in silver in the end because I felt like black / white / neon wouldn't really suit me but I would love to get a pair in blue / pink / purple too. Topshop does it in turquoise and purple but the design is slightly different and it's also 5 times more expensive so hopefully they're go on sale or something.

Just realised they are the exact same colour as my jelly flats haha. These are surprisingly comfortable and cooling to wear, like the plastic won't stick onto your skin etc. I cannot emphasize more on the advantages of wearing jelly flats in the rain - they're waterproof so they don't get soggy and your feet dries up really quickly afterwards! And they're really low maintenance so you can literally walk everywhere in them. I'm expecting this pair to be the same too (at least for the waterproof part) and I can't wait to wear them out soon!
