Liberation

Exams are over!! Not sure how I feel because I honestly didn't study as much or as hard as I should have but nonetheless it's all over now. Just going to make a brief recount for my own reference so that I can look back at this after results come out in July ... Ugh.

Anyway, started on 28 April with moodle exam for macro and French oral. I already got back my results for the moodle exam and it was so bad I literally panicked for the final paper. French oral went pretty okay (I hope) because the presentation was rather smooth but there were some instances during Q&A where I had to ask the examiners to repeat :( but I didn't use a cue card! Like it only had about 10 keywords on it so hopefully they count that as good ... Then had ESPS paper in the same week, not sure how I felt about that because the law question was quite weird, and I felt like I didn't elaborate as much as I would've liked to. Also did the question on the enlightenment and I'm hoping it's not off-topic because the question was quite weird. And political economy was just argh because the stuff I studied did not come out and I did the topic where I only briefly read through the readings so I named one of the mechanisms wrongly :( This is the problem of selective studying which I hope I never have to do again but there was really no time in the end to study the rest. I fault myself on my poor time management skills and procrastination. Had a 6-day break before French paper on Thursday and math paper on Friday! I found French to be quite tricky and didn't have time to write my essay properly because I left it until the end :( Math was a joke hahaha left one of the 10-mark questions and almost an entire 25-mark question blank sigh I just hope to pass ... Gone are the math Olympiad days I am a complete disgrace. Then it was 3 days to the DREADED econs papers because it was so bad I was literally on the brink of falling the module because of the MCQ exams - had to get 60% for the final paper to pass overall sigh sigh sigh. But the paper itself was okay omg owing it to C's help ... Hopefully I'll still get a decent grade but I'm not counting on that module to help my overall nope nope. Then I had 10 whole days to study French lit but not that it was useful because how do you even study for a literature paper anyway. I ended up just reading the text over and over again and then going through some notes. The paper was really weird though because the questions on the texts that I had prepared for were extracts from minor parts so I stoned a lot during the exam because I didn't know what to write. On the other hand apparently poetry was really easy because it was one of the poems which we did in class (and which I don't remember) but I would never have attempted poetry anyway because I simply don't understand sonnets ... Sigh there goes my first year in uni can't believe the year just passed by so quickly. I'm going to study so much harder next year I swear but please just let me pass everything first :( xx
